2022 Charity  https://ukcops.org/

Our chapter has chosen Care of Police Survivors (COPS) as our charity for 2022.   The charity supports the families of Police Officers who have lost their life whilst serving the public.

Every year Blue Knights attend an event called the UK LAW RIDE to commemorate fallen officers and raise money for COPS as part of the Survivors Weekend at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire. Here are a couple of photographs of Wales 1 members from past rides.

The 2021 joint Wales 1 / England XX summer camp raised money for COPS, on the day £586.55 which was topped up with other donations to £700 and presented to Daisy who represented COPS.

2019 Charity   www.bloodbikes.wales

Our chapter has chosen Blood Bikes Wales as our chosen charity for 2019.   The volunteer riders give up their time for free to provide a totally free service to the NHS across Wales,  almost every Health Board benefits from the service they offer transporting blood products and other vital medical resources between hospitals.

The service is totally funded by charitable donations and are always looking for more volunteers to join them,  not just riding bikes but in admin roles including controllers taking the calls and dispatching the riders.   If you wish to support the service either with donations or as a volunteer please follow the link to their web page above.
